Generally most of us turn up our nose when we hear of women who have multiple partners. Some even go as far as calling such people loose or prostitutes for not sticking to one man. On the other hand we are less judgemental of their male counterpart and boil their lack of commitment down to being an ego thing. Though we are not in anyway claiming moral rights for women who comfortably date or have sexual relations with more than one man at a time, there is a psychology behind this behaviour we all need to know about so we can better understand them. To someone who has multiple partners, there are perks to this kind of lifestyle and some of them include

You Have A Back-Up Plan: This is probably the number one reason people have multiple partners. Human feelings are fickle and for this reason many believe its smart-thinking to have more than one partner at a time. There’s nothing more disappointing than spending weeks getting to know someone, only to have a bombshell dropped on you. Maybe you find out the two of you don’t see eye to eye on politics or religion, or maybe he’s starting to get flaky and you’ve simply had enough.
You Can Have The Best Of Different Worlds: Depending on the number of partners a lady has, she can share out her expectations amongst all of them without over-burdening one. For people who see nothing wrong with financial gains from their relationship, this is akin to having multiple streams to draw from. In the long run, the woman gets all her needs met without seeming like a pest to anyone of her partners.
It Is A Thing Of Pride: To be desired by several men can be quite a heady feeling and actually bagging more than one partner at a time is considered an heroic feat by some. The ability to maintain a relationship with several men without anyone of them finding out sometimes feels liberating for some hence the indulgence.

Its A Choice: As adults we are expected to take responsibility for choices in every aspect of our lives and that includes relationships. Dating more than one person at a time is a choice many make after weighing the pros and cons. When you choose to go with this trend, it automatically means you know what is at stake and are ready to accept whatever comes with it.
