Everyone fears to be rejected especially by the one they love. So you can help your partner by eliminating this fear by giving him a signal that you’re ready to get married. Talking about friends who are married or friends who just recently got engaged instead of saying “I expect you on one knee by midnight of December 31.” Ask him questions to see what he thinks about marriage, this gives him the impression that you see him good enough to be a spouse.

Again, this is the most important tip with no tricks involved. Without framing it as an ultimatum, talk about how you both envision your future together.
