Former US President Barack Obama and his family were spotted river rafting in Bali- an Indonesian island . The former First family went on a vacation to Indonesia, where Barack lived for several years as a child. Since the Obama’s left the White House earlier this year in January, they have been having the best time of their lives spending quality time together as a family as they vacation around the world.
Obama, his wife Michelle and their daughters, Sasha and Malia, were invited to vacation in Indonesia by President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo, who also asked the family to visit the presidential Bogor Palace in West Java during their trip, according to reliable sources. Obama moved to Indonesia in 1967 at age 6 after his divorced mother remarried an Indonesian man.
She stayed in the country after the marriage broke up, working as an anthropologist and development aid worker, but Obama returned to Hawaii when he was 10 to live with his grandparents. The family will be visiting more instructing places in the country before Obama speaks at the Indonesian Diaspora Congress scheduled for the 1st Of July.
