Is there a day that Kylie Jenner doesn’t add to her achievement or fame? Well we don’t think so. There’s no doubting that Kylie Jenner isn’t exactly short of money, but we didn’t expect her to be this loaded.
The 20-year-old chose not to depend solely on handouts from her parents and started her own range of lip kits back in 2015. And those matte lip colours and pencils may just make a billionaire out of the Snapchat icon. According to Metro UK, Kris Jenner has claimed that Kylie Cosmetics could be worth $1 billion by 2022 after raking in an insane $420m in just 18 months. Now that is a lot of pricey contour kits.
Kris and Kylie did an interview with Women’s Wear Daily (WWD) and ultimate momager Kris revealed that by selling lip kits, eyeshadows, eyeliners, blushers and highlighters, her youngest daughter has done nearly half a million dollars in retail sales in less than two years. And at the rate the business is growing, it could hit the billion mark in just five years.
We hope she eventually achieve those goals and not go out of style even with the Kardashians’ business acumen behind her. Kylie’s lip kits launched in November 2015, with the company officially rebranding as Kylie Cosmetics three months later.
