Singer-songwriter Chris Brown and actor/rapper The Game came out on top, splitting the MVP title after their team, Ballers, won the 5th annual BET Celebrity Basketball Game on Saturday afternoon at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
The Celebrity Basketball Game, a sold-out ticketed event, was again one of the top spectacles during the annual BET Experience, a four day entertainment event that leads up to the 17th annual BET Awards. The show, which will be hosted by actress Leslie Jones, will be broadcast live from Microsoft Theatre.
Players for this year’s game included singer and actor Trevor Jackson, rapper Young M.A and hip hop recording artist, Mase, who were coached by rapper Fat Joe on his Shot Callers team. Meanwhile, producer Irv Ghotti led Brown, The Game, basketball player Doug Christie and actor Flex Alexander to victory with his Ballers team. See more Insider photos from the event.
