Hong Kong-raised and LA-based, Tommy Lei is a multi-hyphenated creative who has worked in media for yet a while. He got his start at MTV Networks/Logo, where he sharpened his social media know-how doing online marketing for RuPaul’s Drag Race: Season 1.
Shortly after graduating from Cornell, he made his way back to the City of Angels, where he continue to call home. Tommy’s passionate appreciation for the finer details and things in life began to take centerfold: A curated taste for high fashion, exquisite footwear, hotel hopping, immersive, intimate travel and gastronomic culinary experiences.
His penchant for androgynous clothing and unisex style caused a bit of commotion and controversy along the way, but certainly paved the way to being featured on Buzzfeed, Refinery29, WhoWhatWear and even GQ Thailand.
Now, Tommy Lei get to incorporate his love for fashion and creative content into a full-time profession. No, not just ‘Instagramming’ (you can follow him there if you’d like), but actually producing unique content, digital strategies and editorial photography for major brands.
For him, It’s been a dream to be working with the likes of Luisa Via Roma, Louis Vuitton, Coach, Calvin Klein, Lexus, HP, Montblanc, amongst many others, as a digital personality, producer and consultant.
