Strictly Come Dancing Professionals Janette Manrara and Aljaz Skorjanec who got engaged two years ago, have revealed all about their staggering three weddings. One was simply not good enough for the pair, who decided to tie the knot in London, before two further ceremonies in Slovenia and Miami. Speaking to this week’s issue of OK! magazine, Janette opened up about their nuptials and how she came to have two wedding gowns, before their families stopped off at Disneyland Paris.
The beauty commented: “It was the happiest two weeks of our lives. To say that we got to walk down the aisle, exchange our vows and celebrate our marriage three times is really nice. Most people only have the one day.” Aljaž continued: “It was so special. All our families, planners and guests put so much into making each wedding so special for us. “It was lovely that our families could spend two weeks together and get to see each other’s homes.” Janette said they would do it “all again” given the chance, saying: “All three weddings were just perfect.”
Asked why she decided to get another white dress for her US wedding, she said she wanted to surprise her family. Janette, who has previously been partnered with the likes of Jake Wood and Peter Andre, added: “I went to a place called David’s Bridal. “Most of my family had seen the London wedding in OK!, so I wanted my grandparents to see me walk down the aisle in a different dress to the one they’d seen. My mum and my sister went to buy it with me but it was a surprise for Aljaž.”
