Eminem has put his luxurious Michigan mansion up for sale for $2million despite originally buying it for $4.8million, which is less than half of what he bought it for 14 years ago. It seems the 44-year-old rapper’s star power wasn’t enough to beat Detroit’s falling house values, as he has listed the six-acre home for $1.9million with Mark Marangon of Coldwell Banker Weir Manuel-Bir.
The singer’s stunning five-bedroom property boasts tennis courts, a waterfall pool, spa and an ‘entertainment cabana’. Eminem, who is the sixth richest rapper in the world, bought the home in 2003 from the former CEO of Kmart, according to CBS Detroit.
The shots showcase a picturesque pond and octagonal pool in the mansion’s rolling grounds in the suburb of Rochester Hills. Other highlights of the home built in 1986 include two-story, 1,500-square-foot entertainment room, eight bathrooms and a three-car garage.
Eminem has also enjoyed plenty of space in the compound, that features 17,500 square feet of living space spread across 22 rooms and considering his high-profile, the compound also offers a guard house outside the main property.
